finding whats found

We build our self image through experiences, and most of us identify strongly with the thoughts and memories we have accumulated over our lives. Being taught at a young age that practice makes perfect, we take this same mindset to “finding” happiness and improving our psychology gradually. Through repetition, routine, and discipline, we attempt to reach love, happiness, and fulfillment. Instead of understanding what is, we strive for what should be. Does this approach not inevitably breed conflict and fear? Racing against the clock, we run from the past and project straight into the future, without fully grasping what we are now. By moving away from our present problems towards some ideal far away, we trap ourselves in time, psychologically speaking. There is no solution apart from the problem itself. Ask yourself: is it possible to end conflict now- meaning today, not tomorrow. To understand yourself totally is to see the root of division. From that perception, there is action.
